In collaboration with Mindray, a global manufacturer of modern diagnostic equipment, Cassona Global organized a specialized training session for over 100 healthcare professionals drawn from the five regions of northern Ghana. The training, held at the Tamale Teaching Hospital conference hall, focused on the relevance of ultrasound technology and associated innovations in practical medical diagnostics.

Its product portfolio ranges from MRI, CT scanners, and mammograms sourced from the United States to ultrasound and X-ray machines from China. Beyond supply, the company provides installation, maintenance, technical support, and personnel training—ensuring long-term operational efficiency of the equipment. 

Speaking at the event, Nketia Sofianu, a sales representative of Cassona Global Imaging, emphasized the importance the company places on building the capacity of healthcare providers.

A Mindray equipment specialist also highlighted the practical impact of the training, noting that advanced ultrasound technology is crucial in improving diagnostic accuracy and patient care in underserved areas.

Participants welcomed the initiative. A radiologist who attended expressed appreciation to Cassona Global Imaging for bridging knowledge gaps and equipping practitioners with skills to maximize the use of modern imaging tools.

"This training has broadened our understanding of ultrasound technology, and it will go a long way in improving patient outcomes in our hospitals," he said.
